Washington D.C. Neighborhood Engagement Photos: Megan & Dan

I think 2018 will always be the year of rain. More sessions and weddings had some touch of rain or clouds in 2018 than I think any years past! Thankfully, I get to work with such amazing couples that simply roll with the weather and have an amazing time either way!

The forecast kept changing all day long and weather underground became my best friend as I tracked the rain for Megan & Dan’s session. Right up until the time of their session, we just weren’t sure if we should reschedule or keep it as is. We decided to go with it since the rain stopped just a half hour before their session started. We enjoyed the rooftop of their apartment and roamed their neighborhood so they could always have photographs in a place that means so much to them. Their sweet pup, Sophie, joined too! As I photographed the last frame, the rain began to fall again – we couldn’t have timed it better!
