2016 in Photographs: Weddings

Where do I even begin? 2016 was a beautiful whirlwind from day one.

Jeremy and I packed up our life in Nashville in March, put our things in storage and headed to Europe for 5 weeks (in case you missed it, you can find the links to all posts here). When we returned, we immediately began our apartment search as Jeremy accepted a job in Charlottesville, VA. In between all of that, I made two trips to Nashville for weddings & a Draper James shoot.  I also had a wedding here in Richmond at a beautiful garden venue.

After a fun and vibrant summer, I had my busiest fall yet. I traveled back to Nashville for a wedding, then to Savannah to second shoot a wedding, made my way to the Adirondacks for a wedding and then back to Nashville for less than 24 hours to do a shoot with the ever-amazing Katie Jacobs of Styling My Everyday for a Draper James shoot. I also had my first feature in the Washington Post!

Shortly after, I second shot a wedding in the DC area with a sweet friend and hopped a bus to NYC the next morning for a newborn shoot in NYC. After a couple weekends off, I headed back to Nashville for mini sessions and another Draper James shoot with Katie Jacobs. The week after, I did my first styled shoot in Charlottesville at Early Mountain Vineyards with an amazing team. I can’t wait to share more very soon, but you can see a sneak peek below!

I never thought 2016 would be such a full year after relocating my business, but I was SO wrong and I couldn’t be more thankful! To all my amazing couples, I couldn’t do this without you and for that, I’m endlessly grateful. Thank you for trusting me to document one of the sweetest days of your lives!
