Classic November Indoor Pippin Hill Wedding in Charlottesville, VA: Meagan & Tristan

Oh, where to begin with these two. Meagan & Tristan are some of the kindest souls you’ll meet, and that was an even more evident truth on their wedding day. I first met them in the fall of 2018 for their engagement session in D.C., and about 10 minutes into their session, a thunderstorm hit….even though we had been watching the weather and all the forecasts were assuring us it wouldn’t hit until later that evening. But instead of fretting, these two embraced it as we ducked for cover, did a mini session indoors and rescheduled for another time.

From then, they only proved again and again that they had their priorities straight for their wedding. Sure, they had lovely details and a gorgeous venue (hello, Pippin Hill), but all of that paled in comparison to the pure elation they felt in finally becoming husband and wife.

When I entered the bridal suite to say good morning to Meagan, there was this amazing sense of calm among everyone. Meagan and Tristan’s day was here, it was sunny and the mountains of Charlottesville were singing beauty over all of it. I knew it was going to be an amazing day…and it was.

As Meagan & Tristan saw each other for the first time, another sweep of calm joy swept (even with a bit of chill in the air). Since it was mid-November, they held their ceremony indoors, but thankfully, Pippin’s veranda is such a gorgeous indoor option with the mountain views still making their presence known.

The rest of their evening was filled with the best food & wine and an endless dance floor to celebrate…which makes for the perfect evening, don’t you think?
