Vibrant Fall Big Spring Farm Wedding in Lexington, VA: Sophia & Drew

Seeing a couple’s vision come together after months (or more!) of planning is always such a treat. Sophia & Drew wed this past fall at Big Spring Farm and I loved seeing how they used this gorgeous venue in a way I hadn’t see before. After their blended tradition ceremony that brought all the tears, they celebrated with an al fresco reception with beautiful string lighting outside of the barn. Not only did they experience the most golden sunset, the barn & lights glowed so warmly long after the sun set on their wedding day.

You may remember these two from their D.C. engagement session including their favorite wine & cheese combo, so it was only fitting they’d incorporate their love of wine with wine pairings designed by the couple along with a “cheese cake” wedding cake made of…cheese! Then, they ended the evening dancing the night away in the barn.

These two included such thoughtful touches throughout the day, and it was so evident that they wanted to host a wedding with meaning. I wish I could describe how much love was felt throughout the day, but I certainly hope these photos will do that feeling justice.
