At Home Lifestyle Newborn Session in Richmond, VA: Lana

What a joy it is to watch friends become mothers. And even more of a joy to document the sweet season for them! I’ve known Brittany since I was a child and we ended up attending school together as well. We parted ways after high school, and I eventually moved to Nashville. But, we stayed in touch a bit as we both started our businesses. Brittany ended up shooting with me for some of my Virginia weddings when I traveled back from Nashville and now we’ve had the chance to work together even more as we moved back to Virginia!

I was so ecstatic to learn of her pregnancy and was completely honored she reached out to me to photograph her newborn session. She ended up delivering sweet Lana a few days after Eisley’s first birthday and it was so fun to watch her experience motherhood in full just one short year after I started the journey myself. Their newborn session ended up falling on an oddly warm February morning in Richmond, so we even got to pop outside for a few photos. Miss Lana is absolutely adorable and boy does she have some amazing parents. Brittany and Jeremy couldn’t stop staring at sweet Lana the entire session and it was such a gift to watch them adore her!
