Intimate Courthouse & Brunch Wedding in Charlottesville: David & Leise

One of my favorite parts about my job and my work is getting to tell such a range of stories…every couple and wedding I photograph is truly unique and instead of stuffing them into a pretty mold, I always aim to approach their wedding day in a way that feels genuine and true to them.

When I first talked with David & Leise, they shared their vision of their wedding day and I loved how it was focused on having a sweet and simple celebration. They would marry at the courthouse in downtown Charlottesville and walk with their guests down to Red Pump Kitchen for brunch. And before it all started, they met up at a local hotel on the downtown mall and walked to their ceremony together. They really took time to savor it all and enjoy the entire day together. The slow pace of their day left so much room for them to simply be together and enjoy their guests! Plus, good brunch is always a fantastic idea in my book.
