Spring Engagement Session in Charlottesville, VA: Sydney & Alex

I can’t believe I’m writing this post.

My baby brother is getting married!! We may be four years apart, but we had so many years of adventures together and I am just in awe he’s already old enough to become a husband. And my, what a gem of a girl he’s found. Miss Sydney has the biggest heart and has loved our family so well from day one.

They will marry this fall at The Barn at Edgewood outside of Charlottesville and it’s shaping up to be such a lovely day. I am so honored that I will be the Matron of Honor and I’ll also be photographing their wedding. I know, I know – how!? Well, I’ll have an amazing team with me to help tag-team the day and I’m so thrilled to play such fun roles in their day.

We did a mini engagement session last summer after Alex proposed to Sydney in Charleston (dreamy), but we wanted to do an official engagement session for their save-the-dates. We timed it perfectly with the trees being in full bloom! Oh, Charlottesville, you are so gorgeous in the spring (and really, all seasons!).
