Mixing Colors & Patterns: Rehearsal Dinner Inspiration

Earlier this spring, I was talking with Sarah over at Old Metropolitan Hall and mentioned collaborating on a bright summer styled shoot that would feature a lovely color palette since Old Metropolitan Hall has such a gorgeous blank space. Shortly after, I reached out to a few talented friends and the shoot began to come together quite quickly! I was thrilled to have Alana of Chancey Charm join again after our winter shoot at Early Mountain.

Our main vision started with the gorgeous floral napkin that you see below and mixing it with a pinstripe runner for a colorful, yet sophisticated design. (Have you heard of Pressed Fine Linens? They are a new linen company I’m in love with!) Since Old Metropolitan Hall hosts so many rehearsal dinners, we also decided to focus the shoot on a rehearsal dinner rather than the typical wedding shoot.

Beyond the gorgeous floral design by Lauren at Bloom Floral Design, we incorporated pops of color through King of Pops popsicles ( a fun treat for a summer fete!), the lovely invitation suite by Bluestocking Calligraphy and perfectly southern welcome bags by The Detail Darling.

Shaina, our model bride donned a classic yet chic off-the-shoulder cocktail dress by Camilyn Beth and statement jewelry by Kendra Scott. Gohar Makeup and Brianna B. Adams completed her simply stunning summer look. Beecroft & Bull, a local men’s clothier also had our groom looking quite dapper for a casual yet refined look. We had such an incredible team for this shoot, and you can see all of the talented vendors below!
