Backyard Summer Session: Jacobs Family

The good things of summer…popsicles, bubbles, gardens, sprinklers, fresh fruit and endless sunshine to soak in. And Miss Emmaline knows those things well.

I’ve photographed this sweet girl since birth, and my, how she’s grown. With every passing month and day, she grows more into her own and it’s been so fun to watch her over the years. She’s vivacious, joyful and endlessly exploring. She’s her momma’s constant sidekick and her parents feed her need for the outdoors and creativity so beautifully.

Every time I see a new update about Miss E on Instagram, she’s either cooking, eating whole tomatoes, putting her face into a garden house or jumping into the pool fearlessly. She lives life so very well! So, for this session, we really wanted to document this fun time in her life. We had the bubble machine going, the water hose and sprinkler on and off throughout, and she of course got her favorite toy out – her John Deere tractor out to explore the yard.
